I heard that most bottled water is really no different than tap water. Is this true?

I received a sample packet of Heaven dark truffle chocolates through the post today. Who thinks I should share them and who thinks I should eat them all myself?

What happens if I bake pumpkin pie in a graham ready crust instead of unbaked crust? Does it work? Just bought wrong crust.

I am having my wedding on a river boat. Which choice would you pick for the menu?

CHOICE 1:

Freshly cut Fruit
Garden Vegetable Basket with dip
Teriaki Chicken Drumettes
Barbecue Meatballs
Sundried Tomato and Basil Torta
Pasta Salad

CHOICE 2:

Carved Top Round of Beef (Or turkey)
Garden Vegetable Basket wit Dip
Freshly Cut Fruit
Pasta Salad
Sundried Tomato and Basil Tort
Mini Rolls and condiments

These are the only options i have on the boat. Hey at least it's no hassle :)

I love spicy food, but to me, Wasabi tastes exactly like nail polish remover. Agree or disagree?

The sauce made in America is a hearty, thick, spicy, tomato sauce which is often spread liberally over spaghetti with either meatballs or Italian sausage.

I'm also thinking of Italian-American style dishes such as ravioli, lasagna, and thick crust pizza with cheese and peperonni.

Most of Europe has a thing called spaghetti bolagnase, which really isn't like the old American style spaghetti and meatballs. Spaghetti Bolagnase reminds me more of spaghetti in a watery marinara sauce.

Where in Italy would you find the think, zesty, red sauce most Italian-Americans would be more familliar with?

Was it out of need (nourishment), curiousity (a new hobby or to learn for fun), or necessity (like taking care of a family)?

Mine was out of need. My parents weren't there to cook for me anymore and I *had* to learn on my own or starve. Or if you don't want to learn to cook, why not?

I'm just curious I guess.

I worked with a guy who said he didn't wash his coffee cup often, because everytime he washed it he got rid of the 'petina' that had built up, and the coffee didn't taste quite the same because of the soap.

So, how often do you wash your coffee cup?

I'm new the whole "no meat" thing, but I've finally decided it's the right thing to do. I'm also trying to lose fat and build muscle, so protein is key to my diet. Up till now I've been eating chicken and fish, but now I can't do that anymore. Any general tips on Vegetarian eating, and any tips especially on getting enough protein for a diet requiring quite a bit of it?

I'm not promoting smoking. I am interested to know. I have 2 packets of the same type, bought from different shops. If I put both packets side by side they are quite different even the size of the packet. (Regal KS)

A purple manatee? A mutant gumdrop?

And what is his purpose within the McDonald's squad? You have Ronald, who's the ringleader; Mayor McCheese; the Hamburgler; Captain Crook; and Big Mack (the fuzz burger). Grimace does not have an occupation and serves no purpose that I can see...

I want to be a wine connoisseur. I'm interested in having wine with special meals. But every wine I have tried hasn't tasted good to me. I did like Martin & Rossi Tosti Asti. But I didn't like Japanese Plum Wine, YellowTail, or Lambrusco. I like wine coolers :) I know that's not real wine, but that's the only alcoholic beverage that I do like because it's sweet. Do you have any suggestions of what wine I might like?
Or if I should join a wine tasting club to try for myself? If so, please tell me how a wine tasting is operated. All I know is that you taste wine and then spit it out. Is there talking amongst guest, note taking for future reference, etc? Thanks!

I've driven by a beer brewery and it smelled like mashed potatoes and gravy?!? why doesn't the finished beer taste like potatoes? I like potatoes very much.If beer tasted more like potatoes, then I'd like it more and it would appeal to more people? mashed potatoes & gravy in a can? gross or delicious? what do you think?
