I'm doing a term paper for my English class. My topic is alcohol, I decided to narrow it down a little by just doing the different ways that people use alcohol and the effects that it has on different people. I have come up with a few questions to ask and I would love if people would answer these questions as honestly as possible. It will help me alot when I present my paper to my class.

1.) How old were you when you took your first drink?
2.) What was your first reaction?
3.) Why did you drink?
4.) Were you parents ever drinkers?
5.) Did they do it around you?
6.) Do you still drink?
7.) If so, how often?
8.) Why or why not?
9.) How old are you now?
10.) Would you allow your children to drink even if you weren't there?
11.) What is your opinion on underage drinking?
12.) What is your opinion on drinking (even if you're of age.)?

even if it doesn't taste as good, why can't there be diet beer that contains no calories or fat? diet soda tastes weird until you get used to it, then after long enough, regular pop tastes awful. anyway, why do companies not make a beer lower than 80-100 calories?

This is just something I have often wondered - why do people choose to become vegeterians in the first place? Is it just because you don't like meat or because it doesn't have a good effect on your organism? Is it maybe because you don't think it's natural or have a moral problem with it? If it's about nature, could you explain? (but without references to monkeys and primates, please, because they are not full vegeterians either and I will not accept that as an argument)

I am not a vegeterian, but I am ambiguous about the way meat is acquired. It's a subject that's been on my mind for a while, and I'd just like to hear some oppinions of long-term vegetegians. All input is very much appreciated! :)
