I don't like squash so much either (actually I call it squish!)...
But my family loves it. I really don't like yellow squash, but when I cook it, I steam it with butter, salt and pepper. I often add other veggies with it for a whole steamed veggie side.
If you do squash again for dinner, try the butternut. It's MUCH better. I steam that and then mash it like mashed potatos and add butter, brown sugar and cinnamon.

I think that dredging them in flour will just mute the taste of the things. The proper way (IMHO) to show off a summer squash is to highlight its freshness. I think that stir-frying (really, sauteeing) it is the best way to do that. The trick is to cook it just enough, without overcooking. What I would do with them is to cut them into slices, or even better into julienne (that is, strips 1/8" x 1/8" and an inch or two long). Smaller pieces will cook faster and more evenly. Heat some olive oil in a saute pan over moderately-high heat until it just starts to smoke. If you like, add a clove of crushed garlic, and give it just a moment to infuse the oil. Then throw in your squash. If you only have two small squashes and a big pan, you can do it all in one batch. If you have more, you'll want to do this in two batches. Give it a quick stir to let the oil coat the squash. Cover the pan. This will steam the squash, which cooks it very evenly. It'll only take a minute or two. Then remove the cover: it should be crisp and tender. Add a sprinkling of salt, and a tablespoon or two of chopped herbs. Any fresh herbs will do; the basil, thyme, and mint are all nice (and you can use all three, if you wish, but ignore the ones in the jars). Stir it around to let the herbs infuse their flavors, perhaps 30 seconds or so. Crack on some fresh black pepper, if you like. That's it. If you'd like to dress it up more, add some julienned red bell pepper or carrot sticks. (The carrot sticks should julienned or cut thinner than the squash, since they're harder and take longer to cook.) A few halved grape tomatoes also make a nice color contrast; just throw them in with the herbs because you only barely want to cook them.

Yellow squash tastes like very little. Slice it thin into disks. Then salt an pepper and sautee in butter. Let them brown slightly. It's great just like this. Tastes like butter : ) It is actually good fresh too. Just serve with some ranch dressing. This is not my favorite way to serve squash, but my daughter loves it. With a tea spoon I scrape out the seeds. The I fill the hollow with an equal mixture of mozz, parm and tomato sauce. Generally it's about 1/3 c. each. Bake in a 400 oven for about 10 minutes. Let it cool for 5 minutes and cut into appetizer sized chunks.

Put 2 tbsp olive oil in a pan , heat oil and two cloves of garlic, then cut up the squash into bite size chunks, not slices, add chunky cut onion. Stir until tender about 3-5 minutes. You can pour it over the pork chops.

A really good way to eat squash is to dip it in egg and then flour and fry it in butter on the stove in a pan. It is very delicious this way. I don't make it too often because it's high in calories, but it is great!

With pork chops?
Lightly boil it...put it in a baking dish with salt and pepper, a little garlic salt and a few boogers on top will be wonderful.
Just bake for ten minutes.
Serve...

You could make a soup as a starter. If you blend it then you won't taste it as much with the other ingredients, which is better if you don't like it!
You could also mash it with some potato to go with the pork, that would also disguise the taste a bit.
