I just clean off the pumpkin seed of the orange gunk.
Drain and salt.
Spread out onto a cookie sheet
Bake at 300 degrees until desired doness (about 20 to 30 minutes).
I recommend that you avoid adding oil to the seeds. The oil will promote browning which leads to burning. Also, it adds more calories when you really don't need it.

About 350 or just a little bit more with some oil and until when you are mixing them around you feel a kind of crunchy shell if they are a little burned it is alright as well so about 15 or so minutes.

Sister
After boiling in salt water,,, the tempature to dry Is WELL not important..... my electric calls 4 - 6 hrs
I estimate 140F
In a gas oven 100 - 120F same time
Electric "keep warm" more like 6
out side in the sun 6 -8hrs as long as you keep the birds away.
Added Ps I have no idea of what I just posted...☺

I boil my seeds in a quart of salted water (1/8 of a cup)...they come out just like the ones in the store, white and salty.
After boiling (until you can see through the shells) drain and put on cookie sheet into an oven on 'warm'. Leave in the oven overnight and they will come out crispy and snow white..enjoy!
