I think its a great idea, although people told me when i said the same thing it was a ridiculious idea because there are so many cookbooks out there.
I say go for it, write one there are so many different recipes and versions of cooking that there are never enough good cookbooks.

Only if you are a celebrity or have some unique type of receipes to talk about. There are lots of cookbooks out there so yours would have to be really special and unique to stand out and sell.
