because it's really cheap gum.
people buy blow-pops for the novelty of having two sweets in one -- not for the quality of the chew.

I HATE BLOW POPS! lol its cuz when they where making the candy around it, it had to be made hard so the gum comes out hard after its cooked!

that has always pissed me off. i love blowpops but you might as well quit by the time you get to the gum. you'd think they'd come up with a better gum formula. i think tootsie pops got the right idea because at least you can eat the middle.

what type of blowpops are you buying? I get about 15 to 20 chews before spitting out.

I don't know but it sucks. It tastes nasty and is hard. But I love the lolipop part.
