I create my own recipes all the time...My problem is I don't write them down! If its really good, I make it more than once and I will remember it.
Just yesterday I made my own roasted garlic puree and canned it! I didn't have a recipe, I just did it.

Sure, lots. Most of them probably started with a recipe but evolved over time so much that it's nowhere near the original and I can't remember where I even got the recipe 15 years ago.

Yes I do all the time. Usually I'll get some inspiration from another cook, adaptation, and sometimes I create from scratch just by knowing what flavors I like together.

Yes, I used to do it all the time. I don't have as much time now to spend in the kitchen so I don't get to experiment much anymore. If you think of something that sounds like it might go good together try it out or if you are running low on groceries try making something out of what you have on hand. Sometimes, those turn out to be the best dishes.

absolutely. I love to spend time creating in the kitchen. Sometimes I can great wonderful concoctions, while others, not so much. However, I always have a good time!
