I have a few questions:
1. I am baking a quiche for my family on Thanksgiving and I was just wondering if the TexMex type of cheese would be good with Quiche Lorraine.

2. I put ground beef, bacon, eggs, and the tex mex cheese, do you think it'd taste good?

Also, I was wondering if you have any suggestions. Please feel free to write them!

I went to Maggiano's in Oakbrook Illinois recently & ordered pasta with marinara sauce. It was the best sauce I've ever eaten. If anyone has either the original recipe or a copycat recipe please let me know

Ive read that soy milk causes estrogen levels to increase, but so does pcos and Im already at a risk for ovarian cancer because of pcos...

Do you trust these new studies on soy milk?

If I have to give soy up, I wont drink any milk I guess. Unless someone has any other milk suggestions?

And before some anti vegan comes trolling along to tell me all about how great real milk is, Im NOT allowed to drink it. So dont waste your time, I dont want to hear it.

throwing a 1970's themed party for my dad's 50th birthday, and I need ideas for centerpieces on tables. Its a sit down dinner party with dancing, ideas we had are giant martini glasses filled: with 70's candies, mini disco balls, and confetti. Another Idea we had was a small ball or vase filled with many disco ball, on a mirror with four tea light candles around it. Any other ideas would be extremely helpful. Also room decor Ideas would help. i was going to make spaghetti and meatballs last night and for some reason i made everything and forgot the meatballs?? haha...anyway now i have hamburger that i need to use tonight but i can't make spaghetti again and i'm really sick of hamburgers, any other simple recipes that have hamburger meat in them???.............and please dont recommend hamburger helper because my husband really hates that stuff and he hates meatloaf.

Here in the UK, shrimp (singular) or shrimps (plural) are very small prawns. What precisely do you consider to be "shrimp" in the USA? I imagine that they are what we would call Tiger Prawns or Jumbo Prawns?

It's at http://www.picturesoffood.org/pho.html and they said it's an asian dish served at most restaurants. So I go to my local chinese place and they said they don't have it. Weird thing is I'm Chinese American and I thought I knew all the Chinese dishes. But maybe it's not Chinese. I don't know.

I want honest, informed answers, please. I would not dream of wearing fur under any circumstances and find the fur industry disgusting. However, I am considering buying a leather sofa because I have two German Shepherd dogs who have the run of the house and my current sofa is a mess because of them lying and playing on it so much. But I would not want to buy leather ANYTHING if the leather came from animals who where raised and killed only for the leather. However, if the leather is a by product from the food/meat industry....well, then until people stop eating meat then I may as well use the leather because waisting any part of the animal means it died in vain.

I'm interested mainly in the opinions of Vegitarians and people who are opposed to animal cuelty. But I'll listen to whatever anyone has to say.
