Brushcetta isn't a bread, it's a bread based appetizer. Start with a good baguette cut into rounds. I chop roma tomatoes and fresh basil, add some garlic and good olive oil and let it marinate for a little time. Put the bread rounds on a cookie sheet, spoon the mixture on top, finish with a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese and put under the broiler just until cheese melts. Serve.

Bruschetta is, as far as I know, just sliced Italian bread that has some different combination of ingredients (for example sun dried tomatoes and mozzarella or pesto and Parmesan) on top of the slice and then the bread is toasted on top so it is melted and toasty.

Get focaccia bread.
Killer Bruchetta= 2 Tomatoes finely chopped, 2 gloves garlic minced, about 10 basil leaves chopped, a quarter of red onion finely diced, 2-3 tbl spoons of capers, olive oil and balsamic vinegar {just enough to coat the ingredients. About 3tbl spoons oil, 2 tbl spoons vinegar} or to taste. Mix And top some toasted focaccia bread.
Drizzle bread lightly with olive oil on both sides of the slice. Put on baking sheet and toast on 450 a few min. on each side. Enjoy!

Bruscetta bread is actually sliced (French or Italian) bread, topped with very ripe diced tomato, fresh herbs, olive oil and garlic. If you need a in depth recipe, let me know.

You can use any French bread to make bruschetta, or you can make your own:

Here's an easy recipe:

It's grilled bread rubbed with garlic, and garnished with a topping of tomatoes, olive oil, and spices usually.

Here is a video and recipe to make it =)

all you need is a small (in width, not length) baguette.
