It's at http://www.picturesoffood.org/pho.html and they said it's an asian dish served at most restaurants. So I go to my local chinese place and they said they don't have it. Weird thing is I'm Chinese American and I thought I knew all the Chinese dishes. But maybe it's not Chinese. I don't know.

Yeah, this is DEFINITELY vietnamese. You can sometimes get it at Chinese places but it's usually at a smaller Chinese restruaunt that has a mix of all oriental tastes.

Pho is wonderful. Especially in the winter. It comes with fresh basil, lime and bean sprouts to put in it. The meat is thinly sliced and not cooked when they put it in the broth and the broth heat gently cooks it so it is very tender. An incredibly flavored soup and really a meal.
