Chilled vodka straight, and a dill pickle. Do a shot, take a bit of the pickle. I know it sounds crazy, but you get a true appreciation that way.

If you mix it with anything ... you can't really taste or appreciate it. Ice cold (bottle in the freezer). Three Olives Vodka has some great flavors (if you like flavored stuff) that you can drink on the rocks or neat. Surprisingly, the grape goes down super smooth. Mix that with lemonade in a martini glass and you've got an Otter Pop! ;)

If you are looking to enjoy vodka get; a shot and a splash of Gray Goose, followed by half shot chilled Martini and Rossi dry vermouth, with half shot of olive juice and then STIR with ice, never shake, strain and goarnish with olives or zest of lime And lemon.

Or if your enjoying vodka like a frat guy buy Skol or McCormick vodka, a 2 liter of Mountian Dew, and a pack of Kool-aid (lemon-lime or grape seem to taste best on my pallet). In a 1 gallon jug pour Mountian Dew, and one to two cups vodka depending on how much you can take, then stin in 1 packet of kool-aid mix.

please enjoy

Chill it below 28F, serve neat in a frosted, wide-mouthed jigger. That's it.

Very good vodka has virtually no flavor, only a deep, earthy aftertaste.

For mid-range vodka, I like it it pres, misted with a lime twist. (That is... Chilled vodka over tightly packed crushed ice with a splash of water and a small squeeze of fresh lime juice.)

very good vodka has no taste. You can add anything to vodka - try to stay away from really sweet stuff - grape juice and kool-aid.

Have you had it with cranberry juice, or straight, pomagranate etc.

Have you had a vodka dirty martini?

The very best way to appreciate it is to chill the vodka and drink it from a chilled glass

Vodka is prized for its LACK of taste. The idea of Vodka is that you can mix it in with almost anything else- such as a Bloody Mary- and make it taste better.

super super cold (keep it in the freezer) and just with a hint of lime . sometimes i like a splash of club soda to tone down the strength of it, Canada Dry is a good one. Keep the ice to a minimum as it waters down the flavor.
