throwing a 1970's themed party for my dad's 50th birthday, and I need ideas for centerpieces on tables. Its a sit down dinner party with dancing, ideas we had are giant martini glasses filled: with 70's candies, mini disco balls, and confetti. Another Idea we had was a small ball or vase filled with many disco ball, on a mirror with four tea light candles around it. Any other ideas would be extremely helpful. Also room decor Ideas would help. We are renting the showroom at dave and busters if you have never seen it http://www.uniquevenues.com/facil.detail.rfi.cfm?facil_id=54421 click the more photos link... it is the red room.

Most movies are casual-dress. The Breakfast Club, etc. Think of a movie you like where they dress casually. Have a black dress? Go as Holly Golightly, if you want. Just get a pearl necklace and maybe and some sunglasses. There are so many things you could do. Maybe you could go as Crazy Spoon Head, like Adam Sandler. Or Crazy Pickle Mustache. Good times!
