You don't necessarily need to make a dish that has a name with hamburger meat. If I were you, I would use the meat as the main theme for the dish, then add anything that you have in the kitchen with you. You could even make tacos or something like that . . . hummmm? Maybe some hamburger meat, taco sauce, beans, and rice? Mix it all together to make your own dish. Or you can make something I had one time while at my brothers godmother's house. I think, if I recall correctly, that the name is Shepard's . . . I can't remember. But it's kinda like lasagna. First the meat, than cheese, then mash potatoes. You could even add a couple things, again to make it your own dish of your own liking and your husband's?
Bon apatite ( i don't know if I spelt that correctly? ) to you and your husband. I hope you create a new dish!

You could make Shepherd's Pie. Brown up your hamburg meat with onions, salt and pepper. Put it in a large casserole dish, pour over that a can of cream of mushroom soup. Let it mix in and then you put canned corn over that, I use 2 cans. Then you top it with mashed potatoes, heat it in the oven at 350, for about 1/2 hr until heated through, and serve. My family likes it.
Or you could serve the hamburg meat and gravy over potatoes. Or hamburger stew.

This is one of my favorites. It's really simple.
Prepare one box of small shell macaroni according to directions, drain and rinse in cold water to stop cooking action. Set aside.
Brown 1 - 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef and drain.
Place ground beef and macaroni into a medium sized saucepan, 2-3 quart ought to do it. Add one can Cream of Mushroom Soup, 1/2 can of milk and a small can of Mushrooms. Heat on medium, all the way through stirring continuously so that it doesn't burn, until hot. Serve with hot garlic bread. Add a salad and you've got dinner.

Brown off the ground beef, and season it with taco seasoning. Cool. Then tomarrow morning mix it with refried beans and spread the mixture into cake pan. Then add 1 layer of sour cream, then 1 layer of salsa (thin layers). Top with shredded cheddar, sliced black olives, and sliced green onions. Get yourself some tortilla chips and have a great snack for Sunday football.
