I have a few questions:
1. I am baking a quiche for my family on Thanksgiving and I was just wondering if the TexMex type of cheese would be good with Quiche Lorraine.

2. I put ground beef, bacon, eggs, and the tex mex cheese, do you think it'd taste good?

Also, I was wondering if you have any suggestions. Please feel free to write them!
Thank you!

You could make a nice quiche with your ingredients, but it's not Quiche Lorraine. Quiche Lorraine is bacon and swiss cheese in the quiche base. Your recipe sounds fine, but please don't call it Lorraine.

Thank you Dottie R.

For your information the name of a Quiche depend on the ingredients used beside the egg mixture.

Lorraine = Bacon or ham and emmental cheese
Alsacienne = Lorraine plus onions
Lyonnaise = Fried onions
Florentine = Spinach
Provençal = tomatoes, garlic and basil
AND
miss_shirinie = Ground beef, bacon, eggs, and tex mex cheese

Bon Appétit !

PS : My first name is Lorraine and I'm a french chef, hence the display name of Quiche Lorraine

That sounds wonderful! Anything you can imagine that would make a great omelet would work, so yes, tex-mex cheese would give it a great flavor. I would put fresh pico de gallo, cheese, and chorizo in mine, but yours sounds just as tempting. I would also make sure to drain the fat off the cooked meat before adding to the egg mixture.

Sounds alright to me. You may be on to inventing a new recipe - that's how recipes came about in the first place, anyway. This reminds me of the breakfast 'pizza' that Jamie Oliver did in his first TV series - sausages, bacon, tomato, etc., with eggs broken over them to 'glue' everything together.

Anyway, a little mild mustard whisked into the eggs is a nice complement.
