I used to have a recipe for queso dip that included; Valveeta, jalapenos, rotel, ground beef, and i think maybe that was it. I really enjoyed that recipe but cant find it, does anyone have a similar recipe?

Cooking with children.?

My nearly 8 year old wants to cook. We made kebabs last week, he loved it. Any ideas what else he could cook? Nothing to complicated obviously not to complicated but not too simple either. Thanks in advance.

Appetizers for a group between 3:30 and 5:30 pm?

Every Wednesday I host a group of 6 people for two hours. I like to have a little something for them to nosh on and have made platters of crackers and cheese, salami and cheese, hot artichoke dip, fresh fruit etc. Any ideas for something easy and new?

Is it more important to be thought of as a vegan than to actually be a vegan?

People who aren't actually vegans call themselves "vegan". So is it a status symbol of sorts? Is that why they call themselves a vegan, while admitting they are just "trying to be a vegan"?

I apologize to those who have been offended by my line of questions and answers. The YA section V & V is for questions and answers regarding V & V, not for the promotion of V & V exclusively though.

Let it be understood that I agree with your cause. I think your cause is noble. To give any negative connotation to your cause or beliefs has not and will not be my agenda.

So please, either answer the question/questions or just ignore it if it bothers you.

My friend doesnt drink because hes a triathlete, are their any "healthy" alcoholic drinks that he could drink.

Were part of a fraternity so he often feels left out of our parties and social functions because he doesnt drink. so i am trying to find a way for him to get drunk and still be reasonably healthy. Wine is too expensive so dont mention that.

Any ideas how I can make my own custom size baggies (like to put sauce in them for lunch)?

I want to make sauce packets....I know that there are sauce bottles and condiment cups out there I just like the idea of making my own sauce packets like the ones at the restaraunts...I was thinking of using one of those baggie sealers...

1/2 to 1/3 lb. Ground beef, rice, cannned soups, frozen veggies...what can I make?

The soups I have are cream o mush, tomato, and cheddar cheese. The veggies ar corn and peas. I also have the usual seasonings and condiments, just no pasta right now. I'd SO appreciate any ideas!!!

When Mexicans want American food, do they say let have American?

Or do the chinese say lets have American? Where I come from in the states we say. oh lets have Chinese tonight or mexican. But we never say, let have american tonight.

what i will have in my diet: vegetables, whole grains, and fruits.

boss for dinner HELP!!!!?

My mother made the big mistake of telling her boss that the next time he visits she would cook him dinner. The boss and his wife like a little fancier food then my mom knows how to cook but that’s not the big problem the boss is on a very strict diet because of cancer. He can not eat sugar of any kind including carbohydrates and he stays away from package food because of the chemicals. My mom is really in a panic over this, dose any one know of a nice elegant meal that dose not have any sugar, carbohydrates and is not out of a box.

Pros/cons of being vegetarian?

I'm writing an essay about what I feel is RIGHT. But also I have to take consideration of the opposing side.

I'm for vegetarianism. So what are some good pro points and , cons. But I want the reader to understand why it's so good and right to be vegetarian.

Please, I'd like to leave out "because animals are being mutilated and murdered for no good reason.."
