Dust, not on purpose but we do eat tons of dust.

Some people would say cafeteria food was never alive...

Just about all the additives on shelf items were never alive. All the preservatives, the chemicals, a portion of artifical flavors and sweetners.

I don't think some of the fruits and veggies on supermarket shelves was ever alive...its just waxed together.

Calcum, Manganese, Iron, etc. They are not, in and of themselves, alive.
