Years ago (you say that often at my age) I had a recipe for punch that had cream soda as an ingreident. I made it many times and had no reason to write it down. Now I need this recipe for a shower this saturday and I am sure I will not remember and have surched the net for three days.

Please help if you can. Also the recipe was alcohol free, which is good as I need this for church.

Also, all you people out there who feel the need to make strange and/or humorous comments, please keep them to yourselves. It is a wasted effort, as I will not remember them in the morning.

I asked my husband to buy some shrimp for dinner tonight, but the recipe that I was making calls for marinating and grilling. He bought shrimp that was already cooked. Does anyone have any recipes that are good that I can use this shrimp for? Also, I checked and it said just let the shrimp defrost in the fridge for 8 hours, I only have about 5. Is there a way to expedite this without comprimising the integrity of the shrimp?

IT seems like all of the microbrews flood their beer with hops....and now Sam Adams has a Hoppy pilsner....is it just me or does a huge amount of hops just ruin a good beer?

Details would be nice, since I'm really sick of American breakfasts (cereal and milk-ugh!)! I met two guys from Liverpool once, while traveling in Europe, who said that English breakfasts are the best: steak and eggs...sounds good to ME! Any other tips?

Since life is too short to live, I want to try world's most expensive food. And I wonder what they are?

Some of the ones i've tried so far:
1) A bowl of so-called Buddha Jumps Over The Wall, (a mix of scallops, sea cucumbers, shark's fins and many more chinese exotic delicacies boiled and brewed for 48 hrs - what i'm told by the waiter) - Singapore
2) double boiled Shark's Fins broth soup. (poor sharks) - Singapore
3) whale sashimi, taste a little like a crossover between tuna and salmon - Fukuoka, Jpn
4) kobe beef teppanyaki, which is the most tender beef meat I have ever tried in life. - Tokyo, Jpn.
5) angus beef sirloin over at angus house - Singapore.

any more that I shoud try guys?

I know its due to the high temperature, but why cant we just heat up a fry pan for a while, and sear the steaks in there? Does it not get as hot? It doesnt make sense that it wouldnt considering the heat is directly underneath.
