it is a chinese dumpling. it is ground pork wrapped in a noodle which is usually served in a soup or with peanut butter sauce. it is very good and I make this myself often

It is a filling, usually a pork mix wrapped in a thin dough. The dough is folded in such a way that you have large flat "fins" sticking out from the spot where the filling is. They are served deep fried, or in soup. And yes, wonton and wanton certainly look similar, but wonton is just the english spelling of the chinese pronunciation I believe, so really has no relation to the word wanton.

A Wonton is Traditional Chinese, a type of dumpling common in Chinese cuisine, filled with minced meat, such as pork, shrimp, etc. Very delicious.
You can by Wontons in any Supermarket in the Cooler Section.

Its a noodle with meet inside, the Chinese version of ravioli,but its served in a onion base soup(chopped chives are usually sprinkled on top)

It's an asian dish, that is like dumplings only the filling is wrapped up in the pastry and sometimes it's fried and sometimes it's made into a soup. It's good.
