Many house brands are made by the name brand companies. Just compare the label and the taste.

Most store brands just have companies making the products for them and use their own label, so they tend to be very similar. There are certain types were perhaps the taste may not suit you, but it won't be any better or worse for you. Just see which taste you like. Many times you won't be able to tell a difference, I'm sure. Also- just watch the amount of whole fruit juice, and if the juice is from concentrate. Those are the things which really make a difference if it's good for you or not.

Basically they are exactly the same thing. In fact most store brands are some kind of brand name in different packaging. Some of the more expensive brands make effort to use only higher quality fruit, so the juice may taste a bit better, but really juice is juice. As long as it's not a fruit beverage with lots of sugar instead of fruit juice.

The name brand juice is sold to the stores at a discounted price when the producer has excess product. Same juice as a name brand, but you never know which one...

Just watch your labels for the content. The large companies label foods for other stores and brands everyday and it is all the same product.
If someone got sick it was not because it was a store brand, just a bad batch and I would look at the label to see which company packaged it, they are the ones to blame, not the store it came from.

its not the brand of the juice, but the percentage of juice in the drink, lots of "juices" are only like 25% juice and the rest is sugar water

The brand name juice just has less carcinogen chemicals in it..
if you want orange juice, go outside and pick a few from your orange tree.

i just read the labels. if the first ingredient is the juice from the fruit it says on the front, and there is no high fructose corn syrup (if there's any sugar, it should be sugar, and the last thing on the ingredients list)
then i buy it.
cos if you're going to spend the money, you might as well get what you think you're paying for.
doesn't matter whose mark is on the bottle then, cos as long as it's actual fruit juice, it's good.

Stores dont own factories for making juice (or milk, or cereal, or canned vegetables, or anything) therefor, they pay commerical companies, who are already in the business, to make more of that product for the store's label. Thus, they are the same.
