How is it possible to watch a video about factory farming and then still eat meat? Do people not have any feelings for animals whatsoever? I just don't see how they can keep on eating meat when they know it is wrong.

Hi :o) We are about to go into a new school year with my 2 nieces. I am also going back to school and my boyfriend is working. I am looking for meals I can cook in large batches and freeze (for later dinners). I want to be able to eat healthy and have the convience. PS I dont mind cooking all day saturday and sunday to have healthy meals through the weekdays. Can anyone offer me meal ideas?? I take several tomatos and put them in a blender, then drain the liquid and throw away the pulp formed by the seeds and tomato skin. I then boil the liquid portion in a pot for about 40 mins or until it thickens and becomes a paste. Before adding any seasoning I taste it and it has a bit of a bitter taste - nothing overwhelming but I could do without it. Is it normal for tomato sauce to have a bitter taste? How could this be prevented next time when I make a homemade tomato sauce?

The makers mark, "USA", is impressed into the side at the bottom. I think this is ceramic, but I'm not sure. Do you know the mark, if not, do you know where I can find out who made it. They are very old and I am trying to find a value for them.

Vegetarianism, undoubtedly has its advantages, is easier on teh stomach than meat. But it seems to close down your food options. I did go vegetarian for 10 days, and it was different, but I couldn't resist. Can you suggest some good vegetarian foods that I can take on a daily basis, or a plan that limits my meat comsumption? I want to go vegetarian for a month.

I'm still kinda sleepy, and I'm headed into the library to do some heavy research/work, so I really need to be awake & functioning.
What should I eat for breakfast that'll give me that edge to wake me up completely?
(And coffee, sadly, isn't an option - I've been trying to give it up and drink tons of water instead, so this is strictly food.)
