Hi, I was looking through some of my mom's Better Homes and Gardens cookbooks from the 1950's. I tried this recipe, and I would like to know what you think. Would you change anything about it? Anything you can think of that might make it better? I liked it, but I still think it could use 'something else'.

Ham Loaf Line Up
1 Long loaf of french bread, sliced almost to the bottom, at 1 inch intervals.
1 can Prince's canned ham
1/4 sweet relish, or sweet picalilli
thin slices of swiss cheese, such as Leerdammer.

Mash the ham together with the relish until you have a paste.
Spread inbetween each slice with butter, then spread every other slice with the ham mixture, then place the cheese slices in the empty spaces. Wrap in foil, and bake at 180 for 25 minutes.

This was an American recipe, that called for deviled ham, which I have never seen in the UK, so I used a Prince's canned ham. What do you think?

is it okay to buy a purse with a small amount of leater on it?

i'm vegiatarian since april 24.
and i've wanted a coach bag for years.
but now idk what to, now that i can finally afford one.
..i mean like it's not a lot and it would have it for a long time..
i don't like the fact that it's leather, but i've alwasy wanted one.

I am moving into an apartment in Muncie, Indiana soon and I am trying to figure out where to shop for groceries. I know that Marsh has a Fresh IDEAs card to help with discounts, does Meijer have some sort of card like that? I also heard that Marsh was more expensive. I have no idea what the answer is, but I'm guessing that it varies. Approximetly how much alcohol do you think it'd take for me, a 5'3 girl (125 lbs) to get alcohol posioning, and I have a rather low tolerance? I've chugged a huge bottle of Parrot Bay Passion Fruit Rum, and still managed to wake up without a hang over, but I can get drunk off of like 4 beers!

How much alcohol would be cutting it too close?

im trying to have a vegan diet and i kno that a good food source is tofu. many of the recipes ive seen with tofu required it fried and one of the reasons i want to b vegan is becuase it is healthier and helps you lose weight. is fried tofu fattening and bad for you?
