Oh, Lord no! They sell crackers, cookies, granola bars, and oatmeal.
They also sell frozen foods - like frozen dinner bowls with rice and veggies. They can also contain shrimp or chicken.

I love Kashi products, but only certain ones because I am a vegan.
I find a lot a Kashi cereals have much less sugar than most cereals, and more 'real' ingredients that someone can actually pronounce! What's not to love?

cereal is a staple of the human nutrition. it is the only most efficient source of complex carbohydrates after beans and starchy vegetables like sweet potatoes. there is a common belief that carbohydrates make people obese, but what we must know is that by depriving our body of whole grain cereals, we are also depriving it of several B-vitamins, essential for good health. The only difference occurs if you consume refined versions of the cereals. then it's bad for you. refined cereals provokes high rises of your sugar level and they contain no nutrients such as those present in whole grain. so as far as you can, eat whole grains, which is also a good source of energy. KASHI has the goodwill of making wholegrain products, but anytime you buy a cereal, check out its ingredients. it must contain over 70% whole grain and the cereal's name must be preceded with the word "whole". It must be listed first and another way to know if it is truly wholegrain is to check its fiber content: more than 7g per 100g is good. Sugar too must be looked at. Often many wholegrain cereals are sweetened with over 50g of sugar per 100g. Choose one which has less than 8g per serving of 45g.
