Yes, say what you want about republicans, but at least they try to make government smaller (I know, I know, except when it comes to big business). Ever since 9/11, we are throwing our rights away and giving a small group of Federal employees the right to dictate to us how rich our chocolate can be......
Believe me, if we don't wake up very soon, chocolate will be the least of our problems.

Only in America. It's definitely not right, but we as Americans are losing our rights each and every day. First they can wire tap our phones because they have nothing better to do but waste money. Second they now want to rule our taste buds and ruin the true taste of chocolate. I rarely eat American chocolate anyway. In the military and traveling enabled me to experience other chocolates that are sooooo much better. Just don't buy it. Boycott!!! We as Americans are too lackadaisical and just let the government run over us. We still do have the right to freedom and even though it isn't listed in the constitution, I think we still have the freedom of our right to taste good chocolate )lol!!!

Almost everything what the Federal Government decides in our everyday life is weird!

Nope, not my chocolate. If the government allows this, I will refuse to buy it. Somewhere in the world, cocoa butter will still be used.

What is weird is that some people will buy it. If nobody buys the vegetable oil substitute and buys only imported chocolate made with cocoa butter, the nonsense would stop.

Yet there were enough people who bought "processed cheese food" because it was less expensive than cheese. The stupidity of the American consumer is beyond belief.

Extremely weird. But then, the Feds seem to think they have the right to poke their fingers into everything, absolutely everything.

sure thing,
I like to use the hot cocoa recipes on the side of the baking cocoa containers, it has more kick to the flavor than the powdered junk.
