I have a pig roast in 3 weeks, I bought the pig, got the cooker, got the butcher and invited the people but I have one big problem, How DO YOU COOK THE PIG? It will be about 125lb after everything is off. What cooker is better?

For dinner, I planned on eating about 2 cups of this eggplant that I brushed a small amount of olive oil on, and then grilled. The eggplant is healthy, but the olive oil is kind of fat filled, so should I not eat it?

I saw a sticker for PETA that said "Pigs are friends, not food". Apparently these jokers have never been around pigs. My family has raised them for years on our small family farm and they can be vicious animals, especially the boars or sows with piglets. A hog could and would eat a human being alive if they got half a chance.
Although I do not condone treating them inhumanely, I would not go as far to say that "Pigs are friends, not food".

I just harvested a whole lot of basil! I love basil and I would love to get some more recipes that i can use a whole lot of basil with. I love any kind of meat, and tomatoes, so if you have a really good meal that i can put basil in it I would love to have it! Thanks!

I usually drink purified water but sometimes the delivery is late and I have to drink boiled water (that has been cooled in the fridge, obviously).

Why is it that when i drink boiled tap water i usually experience some discomfort in my chest area. Sort of like a mild heartburn but more frequent..

I became a vegetarian last november (for those of you who know, I'm a pesca-ovo-lacto-vegetarian, I eat fish, eggs and milk) but lately I've been very tired. I eat tons of protein - cheese beans, tofu, and TVP (if you don't know what it is, don't worry about it, it's a BETTER source of protein that meat!) but I totally neglected to supplement my iron intake. (duh)

So, I went out to buy iron supplements and I found IRON AID!
Which contains:
150mg vitamin C (250% daily value)
Folic Acid 400 mcg (100% daily value)
Vitamin B12 100 mcg (1,667% daily value) !!!
Iron 25 mg (139% daily value)

Well I'm not on a 2000 calorie diet. My intake is more like 1,200 calories per day. I'm a smaller person (we've been over this with my doctor, I just can't eat that much! And I'm a healthy weight!)

What's this all gonna DO to me? Is ODing on these vitamins going to have annoying side effects?
Go ahead. be graphic. I can take it.
Just don't be rude about my choice to be vegetarian.
