Last night we had hamburger patties with taters,
The night before we ate out,
and the night before that we had steak.

I'm so clueless as to what I should make tonight.
Do you have any suggestions?

btw I dont feel like having tacos :P

If you have chicken, you can season it with salt and pepper to taste, you can had onions if you want along with browning or soya sauce. Season and left for 10 minutes, meanwhile heat 1/2 cup of oil in frying pan. Brown the chicken leaving the seasoning in the pan you seasoned the chicken. After take chicken and put into a different pot throw some water on it (not too much) around 1 cup. Pour the remaining oil in the frying pan over it along with the seasoning in the pan, if theres not enough soya sauce or browning pour a little and mix with a little water before u throw it over the chicken. Add some ketchup also and add pepper if desired. Cook on medium-low fire until gravy is thick. Side order could be rice or potatoes or even vegetables.

If it's Friday it's fish. At least it is at my house. I live close to the coast, so I have access to fresh seafood, but even if i didn't we would have tuna casserole, salmon patties or something made from what ever seafood was available to me. My husband and I both work long hours during the week so I don't have a lot of time to plan meals, therefore, I have a standing meal plan. Monday it's beef, Tuesday it's poultry, Wednesday it's pork, Thursday it's Pot Luck(clean out fridge and have leftovers) and Friday it's fish. Weekends, well the weekends are for relaxing and going with the flow.

I like to get chicken breasts and a bag of salad..... what I do is use just a little bit of butter and I saute the chicken until it's just about done, then I dump in some teriyaki sauce or a sesame dressing.....

After that's done, I shred it up and toss it on the salad. So easy, so good.

Fettucine Alfredo with chicken (and broccoli if you like it)

The Ragu jar of Alfredo sauce is really good. Pasta is easy to cook. Just toss a couple of chicken breasts in the pan with a little butter (or water if you are watching butter intake) steam broccoli and that's it. YUM! Pretty quick and easy. Our family loves it.

Well, since its Friday night, I would suggest something quick and simple, especially if you've worked today. Maybe something like grilled chicken breast w/ noodles, or a simple marinara sauce w/pasta, no meat because its sounds as though you've had enough of it lately.

Try one of these. A big hit in my household!

CREAMY TOMATO POLLO FUNGHI
Serves 4 - 6

500 gm fresh fettuccine cooked according to packet directions (if you don’t have fettuccine try angel hair or penne)
1 tblsp olive oil
3 skinless chicken breasts diced
1 medium Spanish onion finely diced
2 cloves crushed garlic
3 tsp mixed herbs
6 rashers middle bacon
2 cups button mushrooms sliced
2 tins crushed Roma tomatoes
200-300 ml cream (depending on how saucy you want it)
Salt and pepper to taste
Shredded fresh Parmesan cheese

Heat oil in a large pan and add garlic, herbs and onion and cook on medium-high heat until onion has sweated and garlic and herbs are fragrant. Add chicken and lightly brown.

Add the bacon and mushrooms and cook well. Add tomatoes and heat through. Reduce heat and add cream, heat through at a simmer for about 7-8 minutes until the cream has thickened. Make sure you taste all the time. Add salt and pepper to taste

Serve over the drained pasta and sprinkle with fresh shaved parmesan cheese. Fresh crusty bread would be a lovely addition to this meal also.

MATRICIANA

6 rashers middle bacon
5 fresh Roma tomatoes cored and roughly chopped
2 tins crushed Roma tomatoes
Salt and pepper to taste
Tabasco or sweet chilli to taste
Shredded fresh Parmesan cheese

Heat oil in a large pan and add garlic, and onion and cook on medium-high heat until onion has sweated and garlic fragrant. Add the bacon and cook well. Add tomatoes and heat through. Reduce heat and simmer for about 7-8 minutes until tomatoes have collapsed and are heated through. Make sure you taste all the time. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add Tabasco or chilli to taste.

Serve over the drained pasta and sprinkle with fresh shaved parmesan cheese. Fresh crusty bread would be a lovely addition to this meal also.

Hope these are ok and enjoy!!!
Have a great day night.

sounds like you've been eating a lot of heavy, red meat foods.

try something light like a chicken salad with mangoes or a spinach salad with strawberries. do french bread or rolls on the side
