My fiance is in the Marines, I'm not a huge chef but I can follow a recipe. I want to make something special for when he gets in tonight.

Okay, something tasty but simple. Any ideas? Especially in the seafood department.

If you both like seafood, then you can't go wrong with steamed crab legs for a special romantic meal. And instead of plain butter, toss in some garlic and a good squeeze of lemon. A rice pilaf on the side, and a green salad and you have a great meal!

Thank your finace for all of us for his service.

Surf and Turf! Steaks on the grill with lobster tails or crab legs or grilled shrimmp. Never met a guy that didn't like that combo! I recommend bone-in rib eye steaks. Season both sides with salt and freshly ground black pepper, let stand at room temperature for about 30 minutes, grill over medium hot to hot charcoal 4-5 minutes per side (medium rare to rare), turning only once. If you plan to cook them more than medium, go with hamburgers instead.
