has anyone every had breakfast pizza? (and i don't mean pizza for breakfast) i heard if it about 2 years ago when i moved up to this area. evidently it is big in the Twin Tiers area (Northern tier of northeastern PA and Southern Tier of upstate NY) I had it for my fist time this morning. my department asked me to stop by a shop that is on my way in and pick one up. it is a Sicilain style pizza dough with scrambled eggs and American cheese with you choice of toppings (breakfast foods such as ham, sausage, green peppers, etc). good stuff.

My husband and I received a wine decanter for our wedding. We both love to drink wine, but do not understand how a decanter is used. I know it allows the wine to breathe, and all that good stuff...but how far in advance are you supposed to put the wine into the decanter? Can you pour it in there and leave it in there all the time...or only like before you plan on drinking it or something like that? Please help! Thanks!

My baby is being baptized Sunday and we're having a family get-together at the house afterwards. It'll be about 3:30pm, so too late for lunch & too early for dinner. I thought I'd just serve some snacks & hors 'douvers (sp?) but I want to make it special.
Anyone have good ideas for hors 'douvers that won't cost me a fortune or take forever to make?

I was veg for two years a long time ago, but I've recently been diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome as a result of my anxiety disorder and the antidepressants I'm on. Stopping those is not an option, nor will it help my stomach much.

Lactose and I are not friends. I can handle probiotic yoghurts and small amounts of cheese, as well as milk in small amounts IF my stomach has not been acting up and if I take several Lactaid pills.

Soy and I are not friends. At all. I don't know for sure, but I believe I am allergic to it. I get incredible gas and cramps from even the smallest amount of soy milk or tofu.

Other legumes are mostly ok, as are most beans. I still have to watch it, though.

I am interested in cutting back on the amount of meat I eat. Unfortunately because of my condition it seems I have very few options.

Help me please? Is this feasible? Is there a healthy way to do this?

I heard that in Europe they do not use hormones in their foods, that y they are smaller than us. My neighbor an Italian Immigrant came to this country 40 years ago, he worked in a pork store one time and he put it gallons of water and preservative mix to the pork when they made it. Now all he does it make his own sausage. He swears he will never eat store bought sausage or meats again

I will be staying next to one of the best out door fish markets in Italy this weekend. I can shop only on Saturday morning.... What would you get? What would you cook if you had the variety I have available? Please no lobster or salmon. I mean I like lobster but I’d rather eat it when in Maine or on the Cape. Salmon is too common.
There is also a vegetable market... I’m in heaven. What would you buy to cook for the weekend?
