Depends on who's doing the cooking, and what they're making...
However, generally, home cooked...MUCH cheaper!

I personally would rather have home cooked meal, because I can make it how I want and I like spending time with others!!! Not saying that it isn't okay to go out every now and then, but home cooked is always a winner with me!!!

Home Cooked definitely. With home cooked I can flex my creative culinary muscles and make things that I could never get in any fast food restaurant. Even my burgers are ten times better than anything I can get out of a window in a paper bag.

A home cooked meal OF fast food? Or...do you mean OR fastfood. Unless you're a terrible home cook, a home cooked dinner is always the best choice!

Depends who is making the meal...
I have a relative who believes she is a great cook, but she is TERRIBLE. I have frequently snuck out to get a taco or burger and then claim I'm not hungry when dinner arrives to avoid her food.
However, as a general rule, I prefer eating at home (or at nice restaurants).
