If you are talking about a pork roast, no it won't dry out. In fact, it would be really good. Just keep it tightly covered. My mother used to cook it this way for a catering business.
I'm not sure about a pork loin. It might be ok. If it is very lean you might put some bacon slices over the top.
I think chops would definitely dry out.

I would season sear and wrap tightly in foil. Add a little water or broth before wrapping and slow cook. It will come out great!

If you're going to slow cook it I would suggest searing it and then braising it in the oven at low heat. Brasing it makes moisture a moot point.

Tightly cover, add a little water, or beer works really well, slow cook, and always let it rest before cutting.

Season it and wrap it tightly in foil. Cook in a shallow pan at 300 - 325 degrees.

There's plenty of internal fat in a pork shoulder, I wouldn't worry about it being dry.

Depends on the cut.
If it's a tender cut (like tenderloing), yes, it will get dry.
If it's a tough cut (butt, picnic, loin), then no, it will be tenderer and juicy.
