I have not eaten wheat gluten for a couple years and I don't want to start. It causes my feet to swell up and it makes me look like I have club feet. Does anyone know if pizza crust has wheat (gluten) in it?

having a 40th bday party for my boyfriend. Dont want to go with the typical "over the hill" decor. Have any ideas? Thought about having some of those life size cardboard cut outs custom made from a pic of him when he was young? Any info on that? Or any other ideas I could do using old pics of him? Any help greatly appreciated!!!!

I always buy the chocolate that has the animals on the wrapped, part of the profits goes to support endangered animals. Either that, or I buy chocolate made from cocoa that's grown in a natural rainforest enviroment, so that no pesticides are used and it doesn't polute the rive water, therefore not poisoning any animals. If I only buy these kinds of chocolate, I can still eat it, right???

I"m about to cook dinner. I had some left over garlic and olive oil left over from the other night. That night, I made pork chops on the BBQ. I brushed the garlic and olive oil on the pork chops when they were raw and as I brushed it on, I kept dipping the brush in the mixture. After, I saved that garlic and olive oil and added another piece of garlic and more olive oil and left it sitting overnight, covered on the counter. Now, not really thinking, I used this same mixture and brushed it on the raw chicken and turkey I"m going to BBQ for tonights dinner. Now, I know that it's contaminated if I were to put it on something that you would eat raw (like veggies) but I'm cooking this so.....
My question is, If I cook the chicken and turkey, will the bacteria remain? Or do you think it's a bad idea all together??
Dinner is soooon so please answer quickly!! Thanks!! :o)

I love to cook chicken, but often screw it up somehow. I try to use a pan to cook 2-3 chicken breast-halves in, with a thin layer of olive oil and med-high heat. Suggestions?

It would be in August and take place outdoors. Doesn't even matter if we raise all that much money. We just need something fairly easy that will bring people into our tent. Our other idea was a taco bar.

Ok.. I need help with a slow cooker. :)) First off, I don't have one. LOL I was at the store the other day, and I am thinking about getting one. :) The reason I don't have one is because I don't like dealing with raw meat.. LOL (I know, strange, long story ha ha) Anyway... So... here is my question... Now, all I buy is precooked meat, but as you know, that is expensive!! So I was thinking about trying to buy raw meat if I didn't really have to mess with it... Like throw it in a slow cooker LOL So my question is... Can you put RAW meat in a slow cooker??? Like if I get a roast, or chicken, can it I put it in there raw? I might be able to deal with that better. :))) If so, do yall have any good recipies for me? Thank you VERY much.. :)) Take care!

I don't know what to serve with our meals. I always end up having mac & cheese, or opening up a can of green beans, and we're getting pretty tired of it all the time. Every once in a while we'll have mashed potatoes and gravy. Please, help! Anyone know any good side dishes? Something that would go good with salmon patties, or chicken legs? I would really appreciate it! Thanks = )

Trying to eat less animal products after watching a horrifying documentary......but I'm also trying to loose weight. So is too much bad for you, like on a daily basis? Also, is all tofu created equal? I would like to try cooking it with veggies and also adding it to smoothies......never tried it though, any tips?

I want to try to make eggplant parmesan, but I want to make it as close to how my mother and grandmother made it. They would take eggplant slices and dip them in egg, then dredge the slices in seasoned breadcrumbs and fry in hot oil. I want to do the same, but as I am a vegetarian I would prefer to omit the dipping in egg part. How else can I dredge them in seasoned breadcrumbs and fry, and not have the breadcrumbs slide off without the adhesive quality of egg? Any ideas and suggestions, much appreciated. Happy eating!
