I just created a new addiction for myself. Dirt boogie boarding. I take an old beaten up boogie board, with a hard undersurface and ride it down huge hills (dirt and plant) that i find around the neighborhood. Anyone else share this hobbie, or something like it?

Recently I have been witness to a number of answers in the Vegetarian/Vegan category stating that there is scientific proof that a vegetarian diet is nutritionally lacking. I myself am a vegetarian and, after exhaustive research, have come to the conclusion that a thoughtful, healthy vegetarian diet rich in fruits, vegetables and whole grains is not only nutritionally complete, but actually more healthful than a diet rich in meat. I am, however, interested in this "evidence" as well as its scientific validity. Please don't waste my time with answers such as "meat is good", "god made animals so we could eat them", etc. If you have real, solid evidence, please enlighten me with it.

I make sun-tea, using a 1-gallon pitcher with a faucet on the bottom. After it brews, I add 3 tablespoons of sugar. (I'm a yankee.) After about 12 hours, I start seeing stringy brown glop in the bottom of my pitcher. I've disassembled the valve and cleaned it thoroughly, yet I still get glop. I don't get glop if I just put water in the pitcher and let it sit.

It's kinda disgusting. What's causing it and what can I do to get rid of it?

I'm having a birthday party for my soon to be 1 year old and I planned on making drinks for us adults. Nothing too heavy but more like a cocktail party thing.

Two Chinese guys at a pub I work at, one from Mainland, and the other from Singapore, they got into a fight with this really mean Japanese gangster all covered in tattoos.
Out in the hallway, they grabbed some empty bottles and hit him over the head many, many times, (I'd say about 14 times) with bottles, until he lay on the floor for a long, long time, unable to get up, at least for the next 4 or 5 hours, the whole time I had to rub ice on his head and neck, until finally, at 6:00, or so we carried him up in the elevator to street level, and I called an ambulance, but the ambulance man turned gray when he saw him, and refused him.
Then, he told us to take him to his car, and he got in and drove away. Now, he's fine, but everyday coming to the bar looking for those two guys. Did the ice help? He seems like all brand new...

I have a full kitchen so ingredients are not an issue. The dry ingredients are pretty basic, flour, cocoa, egg whites, milk, corn starch solids, salt, the usual.

I grew up eating them sprinkled with salt sometimes. My husband (from Morocco) grew up with them sprinkled with sugar. The first time I had them out he thought it was sugar on their and got the surprise of his life! Anybody else have them with sugar before? I had never heard of it before him.
