A large bowl of Sangria. It looks and tastes great. plus it is easy to make in large batches. Make sure you allow plenty of time for the fruit to soak.
As it usually goes with kids, you wont have much time to waste. So the party will go smoother if you dont have to constantly make drinks for everyone.
Have a large punch bowl out, fill it up before the party, keep some of it for backup, and actually enjoy the party

Some good answers here-my 2 cents worth:
If you are going to make a bulk mix (good idea, so you're not doing it during the party) know (measure) how much alcohol is going in so you know how much will be in each glass that people have.
EG. If 1x(pitcher) will pour 4 drinks-don't have it contain anymore than 4 nips (shots) of alcohol. Or similar.
Hope that makes sense.

Try to 'puree' some chopped mangopineapple in a blender, with some simple syrup(dissolved sugar and water)Add 4 ounces of top shelf vodka Belvidere or Stoli blend or pulse the blender again.Pour into tom collins glasses filled w/CRUSHED ice,and garnish the rim of the glass w/ a pineapple slice....Both refreshing and tropical for the summer..A tropical mango collins.

i'd make a few of the most popular ones - margaritas, martinis, bloody marys. Or you could always tell everyone to byob. Ask a few friends their opinion and stock up on the more popular liquors and mixes and let everyone make their own cocktail at the party.

Being that its summer time, I'd make margaritas. They aren't really girly and those big bucket frozen ones would serve everyone without you having to blend over and over. Word to the wise, it always seems like the directions have you add more than needed-I always add a bit less or they come out strong. I also but beer in mine to cut the tartness.

I would be simple. I would do coconut rum with pineapple juice and a pineapple wedge and cherry as decoration. A little more surprise... would be to top it off with a splash of Bailey's Irish Creme. You may be impressed and I have only seen surprised and happy faces!
Another for anytime...would be Amaretto, Kahlua and milk.. shake in ice.. it is called a toasted almond...excellent!

I prefer "white russian". It's mixed 1 to1 to 1 using Kalua, Vodka, and milk. If you want a "black russian", just take out the milk.

depends on the party.
if its a chilled party then go with scotch whiskey. (mixed with anything, i would suggest the "rusty nail")
if its a wild loud party then go with vodka. (mixed with anything)
