Take a block of cream cheese on a plate. Cover with 1 small can tiny shrimp, drained. Cover with cocktail sauce. Sprinkle with dill and lemon juice. Serve with Ritz crackers. This is always a hit.
Those little frozen cream puffs are a must have at any gathering of mine!
Stuffed mushrooms: take the stem out of 1 package fresh mushrooms. Chop stems and saute with 1 chopped green onion, 2 minced cloves garlic, and some bread crumbs. Add blue cheese to taste. Stuff caps with mixture and bake 8 mins 375 oven.
Antipasto plates are a favorite of mine.
Other ideas I haven't actually made but have loved at parties are cherry tomatoes stuffed with blue cheese and basil, and asparagus wrapped in prosciutto ham.

My favorite app to prepare for parties is a warm chevre toast, with a roasted tomato coulis and basil chiffonade on top. It's a crowd pleaser for sure - the creamy goat cheese goes well with the concentrated tomato and basil flavor.
I prefer to use slices of a really skinny baguette, but you can cut toast points as well.

Ham, cream cheese, pickle rolls. Take lunch meat rectangular shaped ham slices, dab dry with a paper towel. Spread one side with softened cream cheese. Dab a dill pickle spear with a paper towel, and lay on the slice of ham. Roll pickle up in ham and slice into bite sized pieces. Always a big hit!

I have a great recipe that looks gorgeous and is easy. Use kabab sticks to arrange cherry tomato, fresh mozzarella balls, and fresh basil on the end of skewers. Arrange them in a vase type of container and they will almost look like flowers. you can lightly add olive oil, fresh pepper and salt. These are great finger foods for parties that loook gorgeous and are easy and impressive. they also taste great. everyone loves caprese.
