I swear to God if I get another tomato that's red on the outside and white inside I am going to cry!
I live NJ, isn't it like the tomato state or some crap like that!?

We are having our daughter's birthday party at the end of the month. There will be a handful of people who are either diabetic, or simply prefer sugar-free beverages. Currently I plan on making strawberry lemonade (from a fabulous recipe someone shared right here on Answers, btw) and providing small bottles of water. I also plan a selection of beer and wine for the adults. For those sugar-free people, other than setting out diet soda, what can I serve? And if you have any ideas to enhance the presentation, that's even better. (I really don't care for the table with plastic cups and 2-liters. It always ends up with spills all over the table and just looks too informal for what we are trying to achieve with this party.)

I was heating up some Tobasco sauce the other day, and everyone that was in the kitchen started coughing uncontrollably. I know what it probably has something to do with, but i was looking for more of a technical answer. Any chem majors in the house?

Is it smart? More people drink water when it is bottled. It is so much easier to grab a bottle of water instead of a carbonated beverage when you have that option. What about soft drinks, why not ban it instead? Afterall the ban is mainly focusing on the manufacturing of the bottles and its effect on the environment. Soft drink bottles go through the same process and have the same effect on the environment. Only water is better for you.

I can't find any in the metal cans. Does anyone know where I can buy them at in all metal or all plastic cans? The heat over in Iraq melts the wax on the cardboard ones making it unusable. Thanks!

Teen daughters are having friends to go to the Barnes and Noble Harry Potter Party for the sale of the last book. I have been looking at the HP candies but they are very expensive. I have a frog candy mold that has a cavity 2 1/8 inch by 1 1/2 inch by 3/4 inch. I would like a filling recipe for bon bons, candy bars, etc, so I can make chocolate frogs. Any other ideas for Harry Potter snacks, treats or candies that you may have. I am also making sreen print tees for them, and they are decorating a 15 passenger van with HP. All ideas are welcome! Thanks a bunch!

I am looking for wines that are not so bitter. I have tried many. Right now I am trying Sangria by Livingston( recommended by someone at the store).. it is still a bitter for my taste. I want a real wine- I already drink Arhbor Mist, etc. I want real wines, that go nicely with a steak dinner.. or anytime wines. With pasta or whatever. Sometimes I just like to relax after work and have a glass. Any help would be greatly appreciated!So... are there any sweet wines out there?

I've very recently quit drinking and I'd like to find some fun activities to do while sober so I'm not sitting home bored while all my friends are at the bar. Either solo or group activity ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!
