Cutie - what do you mean? Are you after a weightloss diet or are you eager to apply to vegetarian term to yourself?
Labels don't matter, although I'm vegan and fully accept and embrace the term as it represents alot of what I believe. It's not necessary for you to label yourself - just take as much meat out of your diet as you can and educate yourself about healthy vegetarian diets and animal cruelty. Then you can call yourself vegetarian.

You can eat chicken and cut out other meat, but you can't call yourself a vegetarian. However, MorningStar Farms makes amazing chicken substitutes, as do other brands (look in your local natural food section of a market). Some markets even carry fake chicken breasts which you can season and cook however you want! Its really tasty! The fake chicken is made out of texturized vegetable protein, so its healthier than real chicken and it still has a lot of protein!

I know several vegetarians that eat eggs, but not chicken. Vegans do not eat any kind of animal product, not even milk, cheese or jello (Jello is made from something in a horse or cow hoof) You don't have to go comepletely vegetarian if you are wanting to eat healthy. Just don't eat the skin of the chicken, or turkey.

i think having a healthy diet is important but you can't eat meat- flesh, muscle, bones, and still say your vegetarian. in order to be
vegetarian yo have to accept the fact that eating meat is murder-taking part of the cruelty and killing and feasting on the flesh of animals
is by no way vegetarian friendly. however you can substitute just about every meat product for a more humane,
mad cow disease free product- if your wanting that chicken "taste" try Quorn products at your local health food store.
i didn't stop eating meat because i didn;t like the taste- i stopped because i want no part in the slaughterering
of innocent souls

No vegetarian eats chicken. I dont know what you mean by some kind of diet where you can eat chicken..it's your choice isnt it? There is no chicken eating club or label.

If you eat chicken, you are not a vegetarian. However... have you tried the Morningstar Farms chicken nuggets? What about Quorn? Both taste AMAZINGLY similar to chicken. You should try them both and see if that satisfies your craving.

Dude - There are so many awesome meat substitutes out there on the market, but the BEST tasting ones are the CHICKEN substitutes. Go get Boca brand breaded chicken patties. I guarantee you that they taste JUST like actual chicken patties. Morningstar Farms also makes vegan chicken strips that taste just like chicken strips that you can use in your salads (although they taste better fried). They also have Gardenburger brand grilled veggie chicken patties which also taste like real grilled chicken patties. But the most realistic veggie chicken in the mainstream market is Boca breaded chicken patty, so try that first. I swear you won't be able to tell the difference!

Yes it's called a cheater !!!
Who cares what a title means. I know a few people that eat only fish, chicken and turkey and don't put a title on themselves.

Cutting most meat out of your diet is a good idea if you want to eat healthier. You won't be a vegetarian, but I hear the term "flexitarian" used a lot more these days to describe someone who eats mostly vegetarian, but has meat occasionally.
