i love to cook, i would say it's my passion. i am constantly searching for authentic and different things to make. i am always trying to improve on what i cook( and my skills) to make it authentic and just right ( for my liking) when i am cooking for other people i become a bit of a perfectionist and even though others may say it's good sometimes if it doesn't turn out how i envisioned it i just cant be happy with it. all my friends and family members tell me im a great cook, but i it's so easy for people to just say that and be nice to my face! i think i am decent but lots of people think they are good at something but they really aren't

my question is, should i go to college and take the culinary arts course? would i benefit from it? i don't know what i would be getting into, is it different taking it as opposed to what people think? any advice from anyone who has taken culinary arts or professional chefs!

... but there are some things that are going to be difficult. Mainly, I usually cook really extravagant/ gormet dinner... always have. What I am asking is where can you find really gormet recipes that are wonderful..... I don't care at all about time in preparation..... but I don't want to give up my cooking talent and I can't very well cook with meat or I will want to eat it.
Can you give me any recipes or sites where they have this kind of thing that is strictly vegetarian?

I am generally a good cook at least my kids say they love my food but not the best baker. I am having issues with baking brownies lately. The edges are getting crispy but the center is a pudding consistancy. I moved to an elevation of 5,000 ft. Can high elevation have any thing to do with it? I believe this oven usually runs hot so I put them on the minumun time requirement and the edges get crisp and the center stays gooey. Any ideas? Sometime I have good luck but somedays a mess. I follow the package directions. Help???

I was told to drink water to help get rid of hunger pains and I prefer and find it easier to drink peach flavoured water or squash, does this count as one of your 7-8 glasses a day? could i at least have 2 glasses of peach flavoured water and 4 glasses from the tap?

I have cereal every morning... snack on it throughout the day and will sometimes eat it as lunch too. I put jam in it, sprinkles, whipped cream.. and for dessert ... ice cream with cereal! I also love to put lucky charms in my hot chocolate and I cook with cereal all the time! is anyone as obsessed as me?
