I need to know real quick, is there an expiry for boxed dry pasta? I had bought a box of fusili pasta, the dry variety, to what you add water and cook it, in the year 2002, i want to know if its safe to consume,I had half used it and the remaining half was intact in the box what I had taped shut, when I opened it, it seemed allright ., so I cooked it and fed it to my husband, and now I am really worried, its open 10 minutes since he ate it and doesnt seem to be showing any effects, is it ok to use it? anybody , please help!!!

Vanilla beans are brown. Vanilla extract is brown. Yet for some reason vanilla ice cream is white. Shouldn't we dye this food like we do with other foods? I don't like that natural whiteness that comes from the milk ingredients. I think vanilla ice cream should be brown, to emphasize the vanilla part. Otherwise it just looks plain, and un-vanilla-y.

I want to be prepared and not end up soundiing stupid, or like a made this desicion based on a whim. I went vegan because I love animals and I think its disgusting and wrong to raise them to be murdered. I dont eat eggs or dairy because I think of eggs as undeveloped baby chickens ( I used to live on a farm and had cute little chicks running around everywhere) and milk and cheese is just yucky to me. Plus I hear some cheese contains some lining from the cows stomach...

How can I say it intelligently and maturely to them and get my point across nice and clear without having to beat around the bush?

I currently drink Folgers French Roast...and I am so sick of it!

I like Organic foods but I don't like that Supermarkets like Safeway, Giant, Bloom, Weis and others charge twice as much and sometimes even more for the Organic foods than the foods that are filled with chemicals and perservatives. Why?
The companies that want people to buy Organic and yet they have the prices cost more discourages people especially the poor from buying them. So what is Organic food only for rich people? Because in the long run they're the only ones who can really afford it.

I have recipe for tomato sauce in crockpot but notice that it comes out more watery- not as tomato tasting. Shoudl I be leaving the lifd a little ajar when i cook the sauce?
