I currently drink Folgers French Roast...and I am so sick of it!
I am looking for the best store bought ground coffee to get. I don't want to ground my own; too messy and time consuming for a single gal like me. Also, I am looking for a coffee that will be available at the grocery store, not only found at a special coffee house or something...
So, what's your favorite coffee for morning??

I buy Seattle's Best Blend® Coffee
The original blend (Seattle's Best Blend) is their most popular. Medium roasted, full bodied and deeply aromatic. My local Safeway and Target carry it. It shouldn't be too hard to find, and it is very tasty. My husband and I have tried lots of coffee and like this the best so far.

Best Ground Coffee Brand

Ok - If I buy canned coffee I like Maxwell House original, none of the Columbian, French Roast, dark roast etc. will do. But my first choice is usually the store brand beans, ground at the store and put in the bag or taken home and ground in my own grinder. If its evening and I feel I would like a cup of coffee I make it the usual way but I flavor it with one of the flavored Coffee Mates. Once the cans are opened coffee tastes best if it is kept refrigerated because the flavor changes rapidly if not kept cool. It's funny that I don't enjoy the same coffee both in the morning and in the evening.
Good Luck !

simply try the other varieties. I prefer Maxwell house french Roast, but sometimes switch to their "Bold" 100% Colombian arabica style. Chock-full-o-nuts is good, so is Royal cup. Some store brands are quite good. Try the store brands. In walmart, the walmart brands are as good as Maxwell house brands, I think they are made by the same people.

Sometimes varying the amount of coffee you use will help. Sometimes, I make it stronger than usual, some times weaker.

A tiny, and I do mean tiny bit of salt will often improve the flavor, so will a tiny amount of sugar (your tongue needs salt or sugar to actually give you the sensation of taste, really the taste is primarily in the scent.)

The manner in which you make the coffee will also effect the flavor imensely. often i get the first cup of a pot by sitting my huge cup where the pot would go, this first cup of the pot always tastes better than if I let the coffee finish and then pour a cup. It's stronger and has a more intense scent.

Get what they call a "French Press" coffee maker for the best cup, though it's not as handy as a regular drip maker. Stay away from mocha this and flavored that. real espresso is good, but once they start messing with it forget it.

I like Maxwell House Rich French Roast. Tastes VERY different from Folger's.

8 o'clock coffee is also very good and often overlooked. Consumer reports ranks it very highly, also.

On the more expensive side, Millstone coffee can't be beat, as far as I'm concerned. It's mostly whole bean, but there are some ground varieties, but USUALLY your market will have a coffee grinder where you just open the bag, pour in the beans, put the bag back under it and viola! Nice, fresh ground. Millstone also offers a couple of their really good coffees that are 'fair trade' certified, if that is important to you.
It should really be important to all of us, but they are:

Organic Mountain Moonlight & Organic Rainforest Reserve.
Both are very good and the same price as other flavors.

I recently switched to Yuban and found it to have a strong rich aroma when you open the can and the taste is the same strong and rich. Yes it is one of the oldest brands on the shelf but for just the plain old store bought pre ground coffee it's worth the few extra cents over Folgers

I artwork for St. Ives espresso Roasters out of Gainesville, Georgia and in the adventure that your pals are real espresso fanatics, I propose you look into the business enterprise's website which I even have related under. They purchase espresso beans from international extensive and function a grasp roaster who roasts on website. this could be an incredible thank you to impression your pals. the version between this espresso and stuff like Maxwell homestead and Folgers is that's a hundred% Arabica (greater flavor much less caffeine), no longer Robusta (much less flavor, greater bitter, greater caffeine). have faith me, as quickly as you attempt the stable belongings you will no longer flow returned. i did no longer even like espresso until i began out working there and now i'm hooked! the better section is they're going to deliver everywhere interior the U.S. for unfastened and you should pattern quite a few distinctive varieties from international extensive without leaving your place! they have over 50 flavored coffees, yet once you will attempt unflavored espresso, I propose you attempt usually happening Columbian preferrred(medium roast), Costa Rican la Lapa(easy roast), or Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, that's my own widespread. stable good fortune which contain your occasion and function relaxing!!!

Well Starbucks has a nice brakfast blend that can be bought at the supermarket. I also like Folgers Caramel Drizzle. Sometimes I add ground cinnamon to my plain coffee grounds then let it brew that way, and it tastes amazing.

Really depends where you live. I live in the outback in OK. Folgers FRENCH IS GOOD! Anything else would have to be hauled back and ground

Honey, I'm trying to learn how to make decent veggie pizza!

The closest grocery is 25 miles and we don't have Blockbuster!
