It depends on what you want. Green tea has a more delicate flavor and more antioxidants. Black tea, which has been fermented, has a heartier flavor and slightly fewer antioxidants. But if you are eating a balanced diet, the choice should be based on what you like, not the level of antioxidants. I like either one, sweetened and with a touch of lemon.

such comparison is rather pointless.
It depends on what you want from drinking the tea. Green tea is the in-thing right now because of the antioxidant content, but not everyone likes the taste. Black tea has been around for a long long time and most westerners are more used to it.
