I had a lamb tongue the other day. It tasted good, but it was kind of disturbing that it was still in the shape of a tongue on the plate. Grossest thing I ever saw anyone else eat was these guys eating live octopus on TV. They had to be careful because the octopus would attach themselves to their throat going down and people would choke. I'll try anything once, but that was a little too much to handle.

I went to a new sushi bar and wanted to try something I hadn't eaten before, so I tried Salmon Roe (Raw salmon eggs). I love all kinds of seafoods but these slimy little eggs popped in your mouth a liquid that I would equate to tasting like seawater.

it's called "Fejuada", an authentic Brazilian entree. It consists of saucy black beans and various pig parts (tail, feet, snout, skin, etc.). Served over rice. It is disgusting because most of this is cartilage and fat and you get plenteous mouth fulls of both! The topper is that there are usually patches of hair still on many of the pieces of "meat"!!
This was offerred to us on a trip to Brazil a couple of years ago. One person in our group actually finished the whole plate she was given!!

Cow Stomach soup. The soup broth was white and creamy, full of garlic and vinegar, then thin strips of cow stomach was in the broth. For those who haven't eaten cow stomach it's chewier then a tire and just as gross as it sounds. Wouldn't recommend it, also known as tripe soup.

I used to teach the most severe of the severely handicapped in an institution, and one year I had a little girl in my class who had a behavior called "rumination" which meant that she would vomit the contents of her stomach into her mouth and re-chew it, over and over. Well, one day I had a Coke on my desk and I went to take a drink. It tasted real bad and I remember thinking...."Coke usually isn't chunky"....yea, the little imp had taken a drink of my soda, threw it up back in the can, took another drink and repeated the process several times. Thought-I-was-going-to-DIE!!!!

Raw moose meat in Norway. Actually, after a bite or two I really got into it.
Steak tartar takes some getting used to - especially when it is covered with raw egg and onion!
