Depends on what kind of accent you have. I find that those with a strong american accent will pronounce Car - mel, but us Aussies and i suppose the brits pronounce it car-ra-mel. I suppose it which way you prefer, but you have to admit that anything with caramel in it just tastes so dam good. Yumm!!

Care-a-mel. Car-mel is something different, used in cheaper products, sort of like vanilla versus vanillin.

I just made that up.
