Food & Drink - 8 May 2007

I'm a university student and I live alone. I've been trying to eat well but a lot of the time, I find I don't have time to make dinner for myself and I get fast food or just snack, and I know it's a really unhealthy thing to do.
Does anyone have any quick, easy recipes that would work for me?
I know the basics, like spaghetti and macaroni and cheese, so I don't need to know how to make those.
Also, I eat chicken and fish but no other types of meat.

Please answer as generally or specifically as you like as long as you list 5 (this eliminates the "I can't choose; I guess I just like ALL food. LOL"). So you can say "Asian food," "Chinese food," "Peking Duck," or "the crab puffs from Happy Dragon on 8th," for example.

Mine?
1) Pizza; no pineapples or salted fish, plz
2) BBQ pork ribs; mmmmmm
3) Black plums; not quite ripe to just a little over-ripe, it doesn't matter
4) Taco Bell Cheesy Gordita Crunch with one packet of Hot and one of Fire
5) #23 from Pho Van on 82nd

My grandmother told me that popcorn has been recalled due to the butter spray used on it. She said it causes lung deterioration. I have not heard anylhing about this, nor can I find any info. Does anyone know anything? Are there specific brands?

My husband (being the sweetheart he is) bought me a few different slices of cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory (my favorite place). However, my fridge isnt working properly and doesnt seem to be keeping the food cool. Due to this problem, I had to throw away a few things. How do I keep my slices of cheesecake cool without having it go bad? Can putting them in the freezer damage the cakes? My freezer is working just fine, it's just the fridge that's not working.
