My husband (being the sweetheart he is) bought me a few different slices of cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory (my favorite place). However, my fridge isnt working properly and doesnt seem to be keeping the food cool. Due to this problem, I had to throw away a few things. How do I keep my slices of cheesecake cool without having it go bad? Can putting them in the freezer damage the cakes? My freezer is working just fine, it's just the fridge that's not working.

Everyone here is right. Cheesecake freezes really well. You might want to get some Reynolds Freezer wrap. It works great to keep away freezer burn. Or, you could just eat all the cheesecake.

Wrap each piece indivuly well as air tight as you can get it then into the freezer, it will keep very well for a couple of months if you can stand it. What a sweet husband, sounds like a keeper.

Yes, the best thing to do is wrap them up and freeze them. At my restaurant the cheesecakes usually came in frozen. They'll be fine. (And what a sweet hubby!)

Freeze it and they'll be fine. Just when you get ready to serve thaw for 30 minutes or so and serve. Your Hubby will think your the best!

will not hurt them at all if you freeze them. We do it in Restaurants all the time. Just male sure they are wrapped well. Take out about an hour before serving
