I love these sandwiches and I thought that I could replicate them when I got home, but unfortunately I am missing something. The sandwich is a tuna salad with hard boiled egg served between 2 slices of crustless white bread. Sounds simple, huh?

We just moved & it seems our oven gets hotter than what we set it for. Is it better to use a lower temperature for a longer time or the recommended temp for less time?

I am going to be holding a small afternoon tea during the FA cup final and there are going to be fans of both Chelsea and Man U there. How do I keep them from offending my elderly neighbours without ruining our own festivities?

I'm not the world's greatest cook. I like simple recipes that don't take a lot of effort. I like casseroles because everything is in one pot, less to clean up. What's your favorite casserole recipe? Please, NO tuna casserole recipes!
A big Thank You to all who respond.

What kind of cheese do you like to use? What kind of bread? Do you put something else besides cheese on it?

I like mine with real sharp white cheddar cheese (yellow will work too). I like mayonnaise on it as a condiment.

I have enjoyed drinking the old Zima for years. it was a little sweet maybe but it didn't have a strong flavor. I really don't like the taste of alcohol. They took the old Zima off the market and replaced it with something that tastes like plastic fruit--very bad.

anybody else used to like it and now hate it?

Ok- I'm a novice cook. I can make a few basic things- I can scramble eggs, fry bacon, make spaghetti- pretty much if only 1 step is involved or I can read directions from a box or book- I do ok. There are certaint dishes that I know are simple that I haven't tried- rice, fried chicken and fish, biscuits, stuff like that- and I'm clueless about more complex recipies. My question is this: Can someone reccommend a good cook book that will teach me the basics and throw in some easy yet impressive recipies if I had company coming over??
