Most people would probably think dandelion jelly that I made a few years ago.
It was really good though, it has apple juice in it so sort of tastes like apple jelly.
I have eaten the dandelion flowers and violet flowers, too.
When I was a kid I made mud pies and ate them

calamari, pickle and mayo sandwiches, dirt, dog food when I was a kid and didn't know any better. I swear on the Bible, man, I live in Alabama, and you can BUY dirt to eat. It is packaged and sold for human consumption. It's white and looks like balls of hard dirt and labelled " finest Georgia white dirt". It's about $2 for a small package. Some people are addicted to it. I guess they're getting plenty of minerals!

This was several years ago and in L. A. I can't remember the name of the restaurant but they specialized in all sorts of wild game and I actually ate Hippopatamus(sp?) It was actually quite good as I recall.
