Bread is $1.99 for a loaf (but I usually get 2 for one)
Hamburger meat is $10 for 5 pounds
Spaghetti is $1.49 for 16 oz.
Red onions are $3 for 3 pounds
Cheese is $8 for the good 2 lb. block of Tillamook cheddar
My husband's coffee is $8.99
Our favorite biscuits are $3.99 a can
Canned food is usually 10 for $10 if not less
Olive oil is about $17 a half gallon

okay mom says she'll help you but we live differently than other peoples - we butcher cow so we don't buy store beef, we grow gardens so veggies are frozen for the winter and we don't use a lot of products other families do, she even makes bread, those supplies are purchased in bulk twice a year she says her last list was "normal" for this family a pound of Skippy peanut butter - $1.49 a gallon of country time milk - $2.09 (sale) 3 bottle each of conditioner and shampoo - white rain at $1.00@ 18 oz a large bottle Listerine 1 liter $2.50 (sale) dawn dish soap 5 bottles 19oz - $2.00 each laundry soap (generic) pail - 3 pails @ $10.00 each - 22 pounds scrubbing bubbles bathroom cleaner 22oz - $1.69 ann's house nut mix - 12oz bags - 6 bags - .99 cents (bargain usually 6.99) milk bonz dog biscut 1 pound box - $1.29 poptarts 12 count - 3 boxes $1,89 each potato chips lays 2 bags for $5.00 sale family size coffee maxwell house - $6.99 for 34.5oz the coffee is the one she complains about - mostly she purchases cleaning supplies - she says either we are too dirty or she is too clean -- she hasn't figured it out yet

Go to the store and put everything into a shopping trolley, take it to the checkout and when the operator tells you how much it all is say you have forgotten your purse.

failing that go to the shop with a calculator and add it up as you go.

You could also go to Woolworth's web site and go through their on line shopping list and add it up as you go, and then cancel the transaction when you have to give your credit card details.
