I'm looking for a party / wedding reception venue in Brighton that could hold 150 people standing (or less) and permits alcohol.

The shindig takes places on Friday July 6th 2007. I'm looking at sports clubs, pubs, small theaters, church halls, community centres - any suggestions?

When cows are processed for human consumption how old are they. Intuition tells me that as soon as they reach the mark body weight. What is the age of the cow when this happens. I'm specially wondering about cows that are 30 months or less in age. Is this considered 'special', similar to veal, or is this the kind that is found on the supermarket shelves.

My boyfriend said we should go on a picnic next day after he comes back from a trip. It's my first time packing on a picnic.

It's already very warm outside, and he wants to take a walk to that park, it's about 20 minutes away, maybe we'll take a walk first. So i need something that would be light and easy to carry, not perishable, and he deserves home made. However, i only will have time to prepare it the day before the picnic.

Also, should i get a basket (if yes, what should it look like?), or can i just throw everything in a backpack?

My name is Sidney. When I try to preserve left over food in my refrigerator, it keeps getting bad (sour) with some whitish mold-like stuff sometimes appearing on the food. I have tried to adjust the temperature (going to extremes even) but that does not seem to help.

The recipe is a Mediterranean Vegetable Soup with Pistou. Its made with leeks, potatoes, tomatoes, olive oil, parmesean cheese and lots and lots of basil.
