Do you mean an alcoholic drink?
Try red wine or sangria. Also, my parents used to make a drink called Bullfrogs. You take frozen lemon juice in a can, frozen lime juice (make them up according to directions I think but a little less water) and add either vodka or clear rum (Bacardi). I would prefer vodka, but I know my dad drinks Bacardi, so I can't remember (because it was like 20 years ago) what they used. But everyone seemed to like them and they always brought them (in one of those coolers with a spigot) to any outdoor get-together. :)

Depends on what's on the menu and who your guests are! My tastes range from ice cold beer to margaritas to ice cold Coke. So, here are some thoughts:
1. Several kinds of beer on ice
2. Bottled water
3. A pitcher of slushy margaritas
4. Sodas on ice

Vodka and Fresca - or poor man's Smirnoff Ice as i like to think of it. Good carbonated drink..goes right to your head.

Depends on the crowd, obviously beer for the casual bunch, but otherwise red/white wine...and my favorite...apple martinis.
