What are you storing your food in? It needs to be in air tight containers or little storage baggies.

Well what are you storing it in? And for how long? Kept properly sealed in an air tight container, leftovers should last about 4 days or less. This is a rough estimate but varies slightly based on the type of food. A fridge should be around 40 degrees, and if it is just the leftovers spoiling, not other things, like your butter, milk, etc then odds are, your temperature is fine. Also, remember to put them away as soon as you can, do not let them sit out for too long before putting them in the fridge.

Your food is going moldy. This can arise if you wait for cooked/heated food to cool down before putting it in the fridge, leaving excess food uncovered for any length of time, from improperly sterilized or washed containers, or from food with mold already in it.
If your fridge is able to get down to 4C or 40F and stay there, it isn't the fridge that's at fault.
Make sure your containers are thoroughly washed - even sterilized with boiling water. A dishwasher will do an adequate job in this regard, but don't leave the dishes sitting in the washer with the door wide open. Don't wait for food to cool before putting it in the fridge. Don't leave food sitting on the counter or table uncovered, unless you're actually eating it.
Last but not least, thorougly clean your fridge, and use some bleach in your wash water. (Hot, use rubber gloves.)

The best thing to do is to call someone who services your brand of refrigerator and have him see what's wrong. Simply look in the Yellow Pages for someone near you.
It's very dangerous for your health if your food is not kept at the correct temperature.
Don't wait to have it serviced!!

You should get a thermometer for your refrigerator & monitor the temps at various times. Your fridge might be cycling off for extended periods so your food spoils.
