I have some corn husks and want to try making home-made tamales. Real ones, though. I know they are supposed to be pretty hard to make from scratch (or at least time consuming), and I'm not worried about that. The taste is worth it, lol.

why after eating garlic a person have a foul the next day. we can eat broccali,cabbage,tomatoes, even onions are not as offensive.
why such offensive odor with garlic?
what makes it small so bad; being so tasty and so soooooooo good.

one of the little boys in my sons first grade class lost his mommy last week, they are asking for meals to be given to the family. I called the lady in charge and she told me to make whatever I thought was good and easy, it will just be the husband, a 6 and a 3 year old. She did say they already had three lasagnas, so I don't want to make that, and I am not a huge cook, I can follow receipes though, so if you could give me ideas, then I could look up the reciepe. Thanks.

Here's what I have on hand:
1 can Hunt's Whole Tomatoes
lots of fresh tomatoes
onions (fresh and powder)
garlic (fresh and powder)
dried marjoram
dried bay leaves
fresh parsley
fresh cilantro
Ms. Dash Original Blend it contains these ingredients - onion, black pepper, parsley, celery seed, basil, bay, marjoram, oregano, savory thyme, cayenne pepper, coriander, cumin, mustard, rosemary, garlic, carrot, orange peel, tomato, lemon juice powder, citric acid, and oil of lemon
I DON'T HAVE TOMATO PASTE OR TOMATO SAUCE - all recipes I've searched online call for one or both of those. :(

OK, looking for simple recipes that are quick and easy. I'm tired of making the same things (spaggetti, goulash, pizza, burgers, hot dogs) just looking for some really good recipes that are easy and dont take forever. I drink a two liter of mountain dew every day, I have cut back for a while I was drinking almost a 12 pack aday of cans,
I satarted fealing a burn in my stomach when I would drink a can in the morning, now that I have cut back on it I dont get that burning feeling in my stomach, Is it safe to drink this much mountain dew?
